Driveway questions
How much does driveway cleaning cost?
From $4 per square metre including degreasing. Very stained concrete that needs extra degreasing and scrubbing is about $4.50 per square metre. Your exact price is in your written quote.
Can you get oil stains out?
We degrease every driveway and most oil marks lift a long way. Very old, deep stains can leave a shadow, and we'll tell you honestly before we start.
Should I seal my driveway after cleaning?
If it's coloured, stamped or exposed aggregate, sealing brings the colour back and makes it much easier to keep clean. Plain concrete is fine without it.
How long before I can drive on a sealed driveway?
We'll give you the exact drying time for the sealer we use on your job. Plan on keeping cars off it for at least a day or two.
Will it leave stripes?
We use a surface cleaner on flat areas, which avoids the stripes a wand on its own can leave.
Does sealing make the driveway slippery?
Some sealers can be slippery when wet, so we can add an anti-slip additive to the final coat. Ask us about it when we quote.
How long does a sealed driveway last?
It depends on traffic, sun and the product used. We'll tell you what to expect for your driveway, and a quick clean every year or two keeps it looking good.
How long does a clean take?
Most driveways are done in a few hours. We'll give you an idea of timing when we book.
What if it rains?
Light rain doesn't stop pressure cleaning, but sealing needs dry weather. If rain is coming we'll move the sealing day and let you know early.
Do you charge extra for travel to the Highlands?
No separate call-out fee. Travel is included in your quote. Small jobs are best combined, for example a driveway with paths.
Do you clean pavers and sandstone?
Yes. Pavers, pool surrounds and sandstone paths are cleaned at a pressure that suits the surface, so joints and soft stone aren't damaged.
